Encyclopedias

To Cite an Encyclopedia Article

  1. Select the CITE icon on the page of the article, select citation style MLA, copy the pre-made citation
  2. Go to your NoodleTools project, select +Create new citation. 
  3. Select DATABASE > REFERENCE SOURCE. (All encyclopedias and dictionaries are reference).
  4. Find where NoodleTools says "Copy and Paste Citation."  Paste the pre-made citation you copied in the *MANUALLY-EDITED CITATION field. Check it to make sure it is accurate.
  5. SAVE

To Cite an eBook on Sora

  1. Go to your NoodleTools project, select +Create new citation. 
  2. Select FILE, APP, E-BOOK > E-BOOK. 
  3. Enter "Sora" into E-BOOK File field
  4. Fill out form (author, title of book, publisher & year)
  5. SAVE

 

 

 

 

Databases

To Cite a Database Article from ABC-CLIO

  1. Go to NoodleTools and open your research project
  2. On the article page in the database, select the CITE icon > EXPORT to NoodleTools
  3. Confirm that the name of your research project is selected underneath "Select Project"
  4. Select "Import"
  5. Go to NoodleTools project page & refresh your browser 
  6. Check it to make sure the citatation you imported it is accurate.

 

 

Websites

To Cite a Website

  1. Go to your NoodleTools project, select +Create new citation. 
  2. Select WEBSITE > WEB PAGE
  3. Fill out all the fields in each section (leave the Annotation section blank).
  4. SAVE
