Google Docs

You can now create citations in Google Docs! Go to Tools > Citations and select APA citation. You can add sources by filling out the form with the publication information. Then you can insert in-text citations as well as a References list with those sources. Be sure to proofread to confirm correct formatting.

Reminders when creating your References list

Title your reference list "References"
Indent the second line
Put in alphabetical order
Don't use bullets or numbers
Be careful with capitalization
Even if you found it online, it doesn't mean it's a website! Take an extra moment to correctly identify the type of source you're using and cite it properly.
