Novelist is a great tool for finding books to read! You can even use it to search for books and authors based on their nationality, or cultural identity. The boxes below have step-by-step instructions on how to find books this way.

Navigate to our Database Passwords page, and type in the login credentials (username & password) for Ebsco.

Finding Books By An Author's Nationality Or Cultural Identity

1. Go to "Advanced Search"

2. Scroll down to the "Author's Nationality" search box and select a country

3. Scroll down to "Search"

4. You can also search for authors by cultural identity by scrolling to the "Author's Cultural Identity" box and making a selection

Tips On Limiting Search Results

After you hit "Search" you can "Refine Your Results" by things like age range, or genre, and then hit "Update Results" to see an updated list of books
