Scientific research and writing uses APA (American Psychological Association) citation. While the format is slightly different from MLA, the types of information you include in your citation is generally the same (author, title, publisher, year, etc.).

Citation tips for each type of resource are posted on each page. Most library resources, however, have citations available on the article page. 

If you are using an automatic citation tool (EasyBib, NoodleTools or another online service) be sure to check the grammar of your reference list. Machines are not perfect.

Your reference list should be in alphabetical order, with the second line of each reference indented.
